CSCEC's track record spans more than 100 countries and regions domestically and overseas, with its business portfolio encompassing investment and development (property development, construction and financing, and holding and operation), engineering and construction (housing construction, infrastructure construction), survey and design, and new business (green construction, energy-saving and environmental protection, and e-commerce). In China, CSCEC has invested and constructed more than 90% of skyscrapers over 300 metres, 3/4 of key airports, 3/4 of satellite launch bases, 1/3 of urban comprehensive pipeline corridors, 1/2 of nuclear power plants, and one out of every 25 Chinese people uses a house built by CSCEC.

CSCEC has always adhered to the regionalised development strategy in the Gulf countries and has actively explored the Saudi market after Saudi Arabia put forward its ‘Vision 2030’. CSCEC established the KSA branch in 2022. At present, CSCEC has 6 projects under construction in the kingdom, including infrastructure and housing mega projects such as the King Salman Knowledge District Main Works Contractor Project, NEOM Spine Infrastructure Running Tunnels (Mountain Section) Lots 2 and 3, Diriyah Gate Infrastructure Construction General Contractor Area B, etc., with a total contract value of more than USD 5 billion.
