Sinoma Energy Conservation LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Sinoma-EC"), as a Shanghai listed company, is a holding subsidiary of China Building Materials Group Co., Ltd. (CNBM), one of the world's top 500 companies.

In 2012, Sinoma-EC began to carry out Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) power generation project in Saudi Arabia, of which2×15MW cement WHR power generation project in Najran Cement Company is the first successful case of its kind. And the WHR power generation project (1×15MW+1×22MW) in Yanbu Cement Company (YCC project) is the largest one in the world, amounting to saving 83,257 tons of standard coal and reducing 218,132 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.The success of the above projects has made outstanding contributions to energy conservation and emission reduction in Saudi Arabia.

 The YCC project wasnominated to be showcased in China's "five years of endeavor" large-scale  achievement exhibition, and won the title of "worker pioneer" advanced group in Tianjin, China in 2019.
